Description
The Locator-D1 is a digital hydroacoustic locator device including a depth sensor. The electrical interface complies with the Water Linked D1 communication standard. The Locator performs a chain of advanced digital signal processing operations before transmitting an acoustic wave. The depth data is available through the D1 interface, and makes it well suited for retro-fitted and stand- alone applications. The locator can be configured with different cable lengths and connectors.
The Locator-D1 has the following features:
- Integrated pressure/depth sensor

- Rugged polyurethane cable
- RJ45 connector
- 300m depth rating
- 100m max cable length
The Locator-D1 requires the rest of the WaterLinked positioning system to be fully functional. That includes the Master-D1 and a set of Receiver-D1 units, all of which are included with the Water Linked Underwater GPS Development Kit.
